ENSW researchers in Australia have programmed these industrial robots to help us recycle all kinds of electronics. And the robots can learn. When chopping up a new electronic gadget; they practice many cuts until it works, and then store the steps needed to do it faster. This video shows how the robotic arm learns to dismantle a screen. It’s slow this first time, but would do it in minutes the next time. See more at Science Alert and UNSW.
