Japan’s largest tomato juice supplier Kagome thinks athletes are not getting enough lycopene-rich fruit, like tomatoes. Full of antioxidants, tomatoes are juicy and healthy, but very inconvenient to carry and eat on the go. Here’s their solution – a wearable tomato robot that can feed you tomatoes!
Tomatan is a robot that can be worn as a backpack. Weighing 17 pounds, it features a tomato shaped head with circular metal arms that then come down over the person's mouth to feed them a tomato. Employees will wear the Tomatan in the Tokyo Marathon this month. One will run the 5k fun run and another will wear a mini-Tomatan in the marathon. Good luck guys!
