A new mobile app starring Dextrobots is aimed at teens who are at risk of abusing over-the-counter medications such as cough syrup. “This is your robot. This is your robot on drugs. It pukes a lot. Any questions?”
The app is called DXM Labworks after the dextromethorphan ingredient found in cough syrups. One of the activities that it is trying to prevent is known as Robotripping -drinking a bottle of Robotussin cough syrup (containg DXM), with the intention of purposely hallucinating.
